Free Cinema & Theatre Tickets for Local Shoppers

In a time of uncertainty, local residents of Felixstowe are asked to shop local for great offers on cinema and theatre tickets at the Palace Cinema and the Spa Pavilion.

Wandering the streets of Felixstowe it’s nice to see such a diverse collection of businesses not only on the high street but all around the town.   This wealth of shops have meant that many of the residents can get what they want, when they want, without having to journey to the huge superstores or the larger towns.  However, with the current slow down everyone is feeling the pinch and so in a move to keep this wealth and diversity in Felixstowe residents and businesses have come together to create ‘Felixstowe Together’, a shop local campaign aiming to support the town’s businesses and give residents offers on cinema and theatre tickets.

A new brand for Butterflies

General, Graphic Design, Marketing & Branding, brandon May 8th, 2009Comments Off

Would you like an in-house chef to create healthy balanced meals for you every day?

Butterflies Tailored Cuisine do exactly that, and chose Debug Design to create their new branding and identity.

The client wanted a professional and elegant look. After working through a variety of concepts, we were all very happy with the chosen logo; an aqua marine and sharp black contrasting butterfly icon accenting the luxurious font.

We also created business cards and a holding page for the client.  We wanted the cards to embody the concept of Butterflies, and a little something special was called for.  We have added a spot gloss varnish to the logo.  This will bring it out in the design and accent it, also providing a silky texture to the deluxe cards that will make the customers want to keep them!

Debug Design meets the Prime Minister

General, Marketing & Brandingon February 27th, 2009Comments Off

First the Times, then the Prime Minister… what a month!

The Prime Minister Gordon Brown recently visited Ipswich on a mission to promote his apprenticeship scheme. His flying visit had the Prime Minister at the new university, and then over to BT and then a quick meeting with a small, medium and large company…

We were the small (but perfectly formed) company. It was an exciting morning for all and Ian managed to get snapped grinning like an idiot after shaking his hand…

So whether you like him, or loathe him, we saw him and we plan on helping the job market by taking on more staff, more work experience people and apprentices…gb

Great Case Study in The Times Newspaper

General, Marketing & Brandingon February 5th, 2009Comments Off

The Times national newspaper ran a double page spread on Ipswich; and which bright, intelligent, forward thinking company made it as the case study….

you guessed it, little ‘ol us!

We had the interviewers and the photographer in and must have wowed them something silly. However our lack of pictures confirmed my suspicion that we were just too damm cool for school in the looks department… either that or permanent screen burned faces were just too much for an unsuspecting public…

We got a couple of the pictures so maybe one day we will let you decide.

Perfect site for web working

Case study: Debug Design

Ian Garstang was one of the first to move into Innovation Martlesham’s building six months ago and Debug Design, the graphic design agency he founded in late 2004, has not looked back since.

After setting up the company, which designs websites and creates brands, in a small office in the middle of Ipswich, the move to Adastral Park has enabled Mr Garstang to grow the business.

Debug is having its busiest January to date and has plenty of work lined up for the rest of the year. Mr Garstang believes that although some businesses are struggling, many are only now realising how important the internet will be, meaning that his company is still winning contracts. He cites the case of some design work that Debug has just completed for a local fashion retailer setting up an online shop.

Debug’s new home is also handy for generating business, winning fringe contracts with BT, such as designing materials for its education outreach programme, which has in turn acted as a strong reference for other local companies, including Fred Olsen Cruises and Yorkshire Water. The cachet of being based alongside BT has also impressed clients.

Mr Garstang is enthusiastic about more small businesses moving to the site and says that the collegiate environment, which enables them to bounce ideas off each other and cooperate on projects will help to develop the individual businesses and the park as a whole.”
